Queensday neon

A special Queensday today: from today on the next years it would be called Kingsday! The orange royal color stays because of the surname Van Oranje. The trendy colorpalette of 2013 with neon pink and orange fits perfectly with this. I'm inspired by beautiful nature photos below: the right one is made in a salt lake in Australia where micro algae produce beta carotene in the water and thereby the mesmerizing colors. Amazing, isn't it?

Good Karma

The new Good Karma collection by I am Jai is out now! It was really fun making a beauty concept for these spring/summer collection with the three target groups in mind: I am classic | I am trendy | I am colorful. The concept is inspired by the light of Dutch masterpieces and the use of it. Good Karma refers to positive, mystic and illuminated India, wannahave jewellery with gemstones combined with goldplated silver. my minty style

I'm so happy to see that mint hasn't disappeared yet in fashion. With a simple shirt, a soft version of color blocking, and a selfmade long neckless with a faceted amazonite stone looks like you have not thought about your outfit: unique nonchalance. A spring-feeling already!

Save the date

It's so much fun having high tea with your friends! The foodstylist inside of me was busy designing the invitation, making fresh sandwiches and various sweet things, and styling the whole place with vintage cups & pompoms. Who knows I'll use this kind of style for a (/mine?) wedding ;).
